Nestled at the foot of the Catoctin Mountains on the shore of the Potomac River, Point of Rocks is a scenic country town on the Maryland-Virginia border.

In addition to fishing and boating on the river, the C&O Canal tow-path offers a beautiful setting for hiking, biking, horseback riding, and camping. The new Point of Rocks Commons Park with amphitheater, pavilion and walking path invites visitors to enjoy God’s beautiful creation. All are directly across the street from our historic meeting place.

While offering the charm of a small rural community, Point of Rocks also provides the convenience of the city, situated midway between Frederick, MD (12 miles to the east) and Leesburg, VA (12 miles to the west). The town’s historic railroad station is still utilized by the MARC transit system, making Point of Rocks convenient to large job centers like Rockville, MD and Washington DC.

From Frederick:  Catoctin Mountain Highway (Route 15) South to Clay Street (Route 28, the traffic light just before crossing the Potomac River Bridge) turn left onto Clay St. The church building will be .2 miles on the left. Parking is behind the building.
From Leesburg, VA: Take US-15 North across the Potomac River bridge, bear right at the light onto Clay Street. The church building will be .2 miles on the left. Parking in behind the building.
