Pastor Debbie
ABOUT
I met my wonderful husband, John in high school and won his heart by casting an open face reel while bass fishing. We have been blessed by the Lord with two beautiful daughters, Leigh and Tanya; two caring sons-in-law, Winzer and Chris; and five amazing grandchildren: Harmony, Audrey, Ashlyn, Gavin and Jackson.
WHAT I DO
Today I am privileged to lead the congregation of Solid Rock Assembly in serving the needs of the Point of Rocks community with creative and practical use of our gifts, talents, and resources. I also enjoy serving the Potomac Ministry Network as Presbyter to the female lead pastors.
FAV PART OF MY JOB
I absolutely LOVE to help people connect with God – seeing them grow in faith as they commit to Jesus Christ brings the greatest joy.
FACTOID
I helped build our family home while living in the foundation when I was thirteen. This helped prepared me for mission work as an adult: building a church in Honduras, redecorating a church and orphanage in Madagascar, and even renovating my own home here in Point of Rocks.

ABOUT
The Sovereign God, the good good father, the master of circumstances used the war in our native Democratic Republic of the Congo to bring my parent, siblings and I in Benin while putting a mission call in the heart on my awesome husband who responded and ended up in Benin as well, where we met. The master of circumstances brought us to the United States of America and God had blessed us with two miraculous wonderful children: Emmanuelle (Emmy) and Joshua (Jojo). We have been blessed with an extensive extended family as I am one of the eleven and my husband is of the seventeen children.
WHAT I DO
I am honored to lead the Women’s Ministry of Solid Rock Assembly, serving the ladies and with the ladies being God’s hands and feet within the congregation, around the world, and all in between.
FAV PART OF MY JOB
Working as a team with the ladies, bringing all our Forte together accomplishing more for God’s glory.
FACTOID
Having seen, touched and tasted how good God is, my good good father who knows my name. Having been so loved, so forgiven, so favored, so cared for… seeing and being reminded of God’s countless interventions, his faithfulness using people make me want to be one of these people too.
